サビ病耐性のT5296と香味が素晴らしいエチオピア在来種スーダンルメの交配種です。

F1ハイブリッドなので、かなり新しめの品種。

初めて聞く方もいらっしゃると思います。

こういったハイブリッド品種は、スペシャルティーコーヒーの持続的な栽培の為の手段として有効で、どんどん流通量が増えていって欲しいです。この豆も、非常に綺麗でユニークな味わい。ソーキングしている情景が目に浮かぶようなクリーンカップに、鼻から抜けるアフターテイストにカシスのニュアンスを感じて、品種由来のリッチな味わいを楽しめるコーヒーです。

“Milenio” is the name of the variety.

It’s a hybrid of T5296, which is resistant to leaf rust, and the heirloom Ethiopian variety Sudan Rume, known for its beautiful flavor.

As an F1 hybrid, Milenio is a relatively new variety—some of you may be hearing about it for the first time.
