Coffee beans 15g Medium fine grind

Water 225ml

Nell filter

Alcohol lamp

Alcohol for combustion

Step1

Boil Water in Flask:
Bring water inside the flask to a vigorous boil, creating large bubbles.

 

 

 

Step2

Insert the Siphon Tube:
Insert the siphon tube into the flask, allowing all the water to rise into the tube. (Reverse Entry Method)

 

 

 

Step3

First Agitation:
Start the timer and add coffee grounds to the water.
Stir the mixture by agitating it 15 times over 10 seconds.

Note: Ensure to eliminate any air trapped in the coffee grounds. If bubbles persist after 15 stirs, continue stirring until a frothy consistency is achieved.

 

 

 

Step4

Wait for 15 Seconds:
Allow the coffee to steep for 15 seconds.

 

 

 

Step5

Second Agitation:
After 25 seconds from adding the coffee, turn off the heat source and stir the mixture 10 times.

Note: This stirring helps create a flow, allowing the water to descend.

 

 

 

Step6

 Remove the Siphon Tube:

Once all the water has returned to the flask and the bubbling has ceased, tilt the siphon tube and detach it from the flask.

 

 

   

Step7

In the end, serve the coffee into the preheated cup.
