エルインヘルト農園のアギーレさんがLiLoに来店してくださったのは、もう8年前になります。

非常に紳士な方で、スマートで物腰柔らかで、終始素晴らしく素敵な方だなという印象でした。

そこからのご縁で、エルインヘルト農園の豆を取り扱い続けて、毎年さまざまな品種や精製のものを提供しています。

ここ数年は、味がずっと気に入っているイエローナンセ。独特の南国系の甘みと程よい量感、アフターのヘーゼルナッツも色んなシーンに合わせやすく素晴らしい豆です。

ただ、年々このイエローナンセの需要が少なくなってきているのと、コーヒーノキの樹齢も経って収量も減ってきているとか。価格も高騰しており、今後もしかするとこの豆自体を栽培しなくなる可能性もあるようです。

そういった意味でも非常に貴重なこのコーヒー。

It has been eight years since Mr. Aguirre from El Injerto visited LiLo Coffee Roasters.

He left a lasting impression—an incredibly polite and sophisticated gentleman with a calm and kind demeanor. That visit marked the beginning of our long-standing relationship with El Injerto, and we have been fortunate to offer various varieties and processing methods from their farm each year.

One of our favorites in recent years has been Yellow Nance. It boasts a distinctive tropical sweetness, a well-balanced body, and a hazelnut-like finish that makes it an excellent choice for any occasion.

However, demand for Yellow Nance has been declining, and as the coffee trees grow older, their yield is decreasing. Rising costs and other factors have also led to discussions about possibly discontinuing its cultivation in the future.

That makes this coffee even more special.
