ブレンドの設計を担うのが、“ブレンダー”と呼ばれる存在です。「どんな世界観を描きたいか」「どんな香りを感じてほしいか」。まずはコンセプトを立て、味わいの設計図を描き、ミリ単位で素材を掛け合わせながら、一杯のコーヒーをかたちづくっていきます。だからこそ、異なるブレンドには、それぞれ異なる楽しみ方と物語が込められているのです。

リロコーヒーを代表する「Seasonal Blend」シリーズは、四季の移ろいを表現したブレンド。柔らかく甘い春の香り。強く青々とした夏の香り。暖かく穏やかな秋の香り。冷たくしっとりとした冬の香り。自然の一瞬の美しさや、季節ごとの匂い立つような情緒を、毎月変化するブレンドに込めています。

「THISISOSAKA」は、大阪のローカルな魅力をコーヒーで表現するプロジェクト。実際に街を歩き、土地の文化や人々の営みに触れながら、取材を重ねてブレンドを設計します。笑いと人情、祭に遺跡、職人技。観光だけでは見えない“ごちゃっとした面白さ”を一杯に詰め込んでいます。まるでコーヒーでめくる、大阪のガイドブックのようなシリーズです。

そして、2025年秋に開業の「IN THE COFFEE KYOTO」では、思わず選びたくなるような多彩なブレンデッド・スペシャルティコーヒーを展開しています。「洋梨のような」「トロピカルな」「チョコレートのような」「りんごのような」「ウィスキーのような」…。一杯ずつが、ブレンダーのスペシャリテであり、味わいの世界旅行。好きな風味に出会える楽しさ、コーヒーで遊びたくなるような驚きとワクワクを、「IN THE COFFEE KYOTO」で体験していただけます。

Behind every blend is a person known as a blender—the one who designs its entire structure. They begin by asking, “What kind of world do I want to create?” and “What kind of aroma do I want people to experience?” With a clear concept in mind, they sketch out a flavor blueprint, carefully layering ingredients down to the gram. That’s why each blend offers a different way to enjoy coffee—and tells a different story.

Our signature Seasonal Blend series expresses the beauty of Japan’s four seasons.A gentle, sweet aroma for spring. A fresh, green scent for summer. A warm, mellow fragrance for autumn. A cool, softly lingering note for winter. Each month, the blend changes to reflect the fleeting beauty and emotional tone of the season, capturing Japan’s sensitivity to the rhythms of nature.

THISISOSAKA is a project that turns Osaka’s local charm into coffee.

By walking through neighborhoods, experiencing local culture, and meeting the people who bring the city to life, we design blends rooted in real stories. Laughter and kindness, festivals and ruins, craftsmanship and everyday chaos—these unique traits of Osaka, often missed by tourists, are poured into every cup. It’s like flipping through a guidebook of the city, one coffee at a time.
