“魅惑の滝”と名付けられた場所
A Place Named “The Enchanted Waterfall”

Cascada Encantada は、スペイン語で「魅惑の滝」「魔法にかけられた滝」という意味。

Fredy Morales親子が農園へ向かう道中、いつも橋のたもとでコーヒーを飲みながら、美しい景色を眺めていた場所がありました。2015年、偶然にもその思い出深い土地を購入する機会に恵まれ、その景色への想いを込めて「Cascada Encantada」と名付けられました。

Cascada Encantada means “Enchanted Waterfall” in Spanish.

On their way to the farm, Fredy Morales and his family would often stop by a bridge, enjoy a cup of coffee, and take in the beautiful scenery. In 2015, they had the opportunity to purchase that very piece of land. In memory of the landscape they had admired for years, they named it “Cascada Encantada.”

The farm is located in Huehuetenango, in northwestern Guatemala, at an elevation of 1,800–1,995 meters. It sits among the Sierra de los Cuchumatanes, the highest non-volcanic mountain range in Central America.

このロットに使われているのは、GeishaとPacamara、2つの個性的な品種。

Geishaは、ジャスミンを思わせる華やかな香りや、繊細で複雑な果実感で知られる品種。一方のPacamaraは、エルサルバドルで生まれた大粒の品種で、明るい酸と厚みのある複雑な味わいを持ちます。

この2品種を組み合わせることで生まれるのが、Cascada Encantadaならではの表情。

ソフトで香り高いジャスミンから、ピンクグレープフルーツやアプリコットを思わせる複雑な甘酸っぱさへ。ほのかなバニラのニュアンスとともに、最後にはスパークリングワインのような爽やかな余韻が広がります。

This lot brings together two distinctive coffee varieties: Geisha and Pacamara.

Geisha is renowned for its elegant jasmine-like florals and delicate, complex fruit character. Pacamara, a large-bean variety developed in El Salvador, is known for its bright acidity, rich body, and layered complexity.

Together, these two varieties create a flavor profile unique to Cascada Encantada.It opens with soft, aromatic notes of jasmine, followed by the complex sweet-and-tart character of pink grapefruit and apricot. A subtle hint of vanilla leads into a crisp, refreshing finish reminiscent of sparkling wine.

この農園を手がけるMoralesファミリーのコーヒーづくりは、何世代にもわたって受け継がれてきました。

Cup of Excellenceでも幾度も高い評価を受けてきた、ウエウエテナンゴを代表する生産者のひとつです。同時に、苗木の供給や医療支援、農園内の教育プログラム「Coffee Kinder」などを通して、周辺地域のコーヒー生産者やそこで暮らす家族も支えています。

LiLo Coffee RoastersのHead Roaster 中村圭太も、MoralesファミリーのAlejandroと来日のたびに交流を重ねてきました。

農園、品種、土地、そして人とのつながり。
そのすべてが重なって生まれた、Cascada Encantadaの特別な一杯です。

Coffee production within the Morales family has been passed down through generations.

It is one of Huehuetenango’s most highly regarded producers, having received recognition numerous times in the Cup of Excellence. Beyond coffee production, the family also supports its local community through initiatives such as providing coffee seedlings, access to healthcare, and the farm-based educational program “Coffee Kinder.”

LiLo Coffee Roasters Head Roaster Keita Nakamura has also built a close relationship with Alejandro of the Morales family through repeated meetings during his visits to Japan.
